Me and My Family
My name is Kevin Counsell and I grew up in Oconomowoc, WI which is between Madison and Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have 3 brothers and no sisters. I am married to my wonderful wife, Tina in January of 2015. My parents have been married for over 35 years.
Teaching and Coaching
I'm very grateful and excited to be a part of the OLA community. This is my second year teaching job, as I have graduated from Carroll University in May of 2010 with degrees in Physical Education, Health Education, and Adaptive Physical Education. Not only do I teach but I also enjoy to coach soccer and track as well. I have been coaching at the club level for Oconomowoc, Kettle Moraine, and Pewaukee/Sussex from 2006 to the spring of 2013. I am currently serving my 4th season as the Boys Varsity Assistant Soccer Coach for Kettle Moraine High School. I have also coached track and field at the middle school level 2 years and 2 years at Delavan-Darrien High School with experience with specialties in sprints, relays, and jumping events.
Hobbies and Favorite Sports Teams
When I'm not teaching or coaching, I do have some hobbies. They are bike riding, hiking, working out, and playing on the drumset.
